    Job Description

    Guest Experience

  • Create guest experience that is unique to the brand and the property. Understands the importance of providing genuine, authentic, and meaningful details across the guest experience and strives to ensure an emotional connection with guests on product experience, every single day.
  • Understands the importance of spending time with guests to understand their needs and communicates opportunities to direct reports where experiences can be improved and refined in the moment.
  • Seeks out feedback from our guests and actively drives to implement feedback where a business impact can be justified.
  • Audits the onboard guest experience to ensure quality assurance is measured and tangibly delivered across all guest satisfaction channels.
  • Works with the team to ensure a forward-thinking approach to luxury hospitality experiences.

    P & L
  • Monthly review of financial statement in order to correct problems, assure spending is in line and to plan for future business.
  • Oversees the process of collecting and analyzing revenue, sales, and financial data and develops systems and processes to manage and analyze financial records.
  • Drives and implements revenue strategies to ensure budgeted targets are always achieved or exceeded.
  • Regularly review all major expenses to assure that monies are wisely expended.

    Inspection

  • Regular personal inspection of rooms, public areas, back of house, banquet function set-ups. Assure that written lists are developed of corrective actions required for implementation by housekeeping, maintenance and operating departments.
  • Guest service through leadership and example, establish a friendly, courteous, service-oriented approach to guests that is exhibited by all employees.
  • Establish and implement guest service standards for all departments, periodically review, identify problems and corrective actions.

    Property Maintenance
  • Assure that an on-going program is followed in regular repair and upkeep of the facility, landscape and equipment by developing and implementing a preventive maintenance program.

    Food and Beverage
  • Monitor the success of F&B programs within the business and take corrective actions as required.
  • Monitor sales levels in order to take steps to reverse negative sales trends.

    The Successful Applicant
  • A minimum of 10 years experience as General Manager or Assistant General Manager .
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the hospitality and business management fields.
  • Requires considerable working knowledge of other major areas and the skill to integrate and communicate that information.
  • Requires studying, analyzing and interpreting complex activities or information in order to improve known practices or develop new approaches.
  • Ability to make decisions with only general policies and procedures for guidance and keeping the stakeholders informed of general direction.
  • Requires highly developed communication skills to frequently negotiate, convince, sell and influence other managerial personnel, guests and/or corporate clients.
  • Must have excellent speech and written skills in order to communicate with managers, guests and employees.
  • Must have excellent literacy skills necessary for reports, policies and procedures.
