Below is my brief introduction;

I have more than 30 years of experience in Sourcing, Sale, Marketing and Trading of Bulk Commodities such as Thermal Coal, Metallurgical Coal, PCI Coal and Anthracite Coal.

By qualifications, I am a Mechanical Engineer and Master of Business Administration in Marketing.

I can add value in sourcing coal from Indonesia, Russia and Australia and then add value in coal sales in Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, China and Indian market.

Currently I am working as Senior Trader with Virema Impex Group in Jakarta, Indonesia  

In Indonesia, I have worked +14 years in Coal Sourcing, Coal Sales and Coal Trading with various companies such as Global Indo Coal, Indonesia as CEO, as General Manager in Prolindo Cipta Nusantara, Indonesia, as General Manager in Emmsons International Ltd, Indonesia and as Country Head in Visa Resources Ltd, Indonesia.  

In Singapore, I have worked more than 3 years with Russian Coal Mines, Mechel Carbon AG as Director Sales - South East Asia & India for Selling Thermal Coal, Metallurgical Coal, PCI and Anthracite Coal.

In India, I have worked 12 years in Trading of Metallurgical Coal and Metallurgical Coke with Tata Group namely with Tata Steel, Tata Metaliks Ltd and Tata International Ltd.

In addition to commodity trading activities, group owns a largest Manganese ore mine in Indonesia. Group is also actively investing in residential, commercial and industrial properties, providing a diversified investment portfolio to our shareholders. Group has PT Virema Impex, Jakarta Indonesia, Virema Commodities Pte Ltd, Singapore, Virema Commodities LLC FZ, Dubai, UAE. PT Virema Impex trades predominantly exporting of coal from Indonesia to India, China, Thailand, Vietnam and other South Asian and Southeast Asia countries. ü Obtained firm enquiry 110,000 MT from Thailand Market for 4800 GAR.

ü Obtained firm enquiry of 500,000 MT from Indian Market for supply of 3400 GAR and 3800 GAR.

ü Developed 5 new high CV coal sources from Indonesia and 2 sources from Russia and one from Kazakhstan.

Global Indo Coal is subsidiary of Global Transit Group, France. Global Transit Group is 21 years old company and is engaged in cement manufacturing and supply of cement related raw materials. Group owns 2 cement plants in Vietnam named as Lam Thach Cement Vietnam under Quang Ninh Cement and Construction Joint Stock Company (QNC). Coal requirement of group’s cement plants in Vietnam is 1.5 to 2 million tons per annum. Apart from in-house coal consumption, group is supplying coal, Gypsum, Lime Stone and Slag to many other cement plants in Vietnam and then buying their clinker & cement on barter trade. Group also trade coal, Gypsum, Limestone and slag and Steel. Annually, group trade 8 million tons of Gypsum, Limestone, Slag, Clinker & Cement. Group also supply coal to power plants, steel plants and other industries. Global Transit Group also trade steel & steel products in Europe. Head office of Global Transit is in Marseille, France and subsidiary companies are in Singapore, Vietnam, Turkey and Indonesia.

Mechel Group is a vertically integrated company operating in four business segments: Mining, Steel, Ferroalloys and Power. Mechel is producing Steel, Ferroalloys, Electric Power, Iron Ore, Metallurgical Coke, Chemical products, Metallurgical Coal, PCI, Anthracites and Thermal Coal. Mechel Mining produces around 24 million tonnes and exports around 12 million tonnes of coal in domestic and international market. Mechel’s net revenue is $4.12 billion approx. Mechel is listed at New York Stock Exchange.

PT. Prolindo Cipta Nusantara under group company, PT. Lestari Cipta Persada, is producing 2.5 million tonnes of 4100 GAR Coal. Group also have PT. Astri Mining Resources producing 3800 GAR Coal. Group is exporting approx. 2-3 million tonnes of coal into South East Asia, India and China.

ü Marketing, shipping and operation of Indonesian coal in India, China and South East Asia.

ü Handling coal sales volume upto 2.5 to 3 million tons per annum.

ü Identify and develop new customers of Steam Coal in South East Asia.

ü Negotiating and settling demurrage and dispatches.

Emmsons International Ltd (EIL) is a Star Status Trading House from India. EIL is into harvesting and Agro Trading, Coal Mining and Coal Trading, having head office at New Delhi and overseas offices in Switzerland, Ukraine, U.K, UAE, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Indonesia. EIL owns a 101.6 million ton reserve Coal mine in Indonesia. Turn Over of Group is over one Billion Dollars.

ü Identified one coal mines for acquisition.

ü Signed MOU with PT. Bukit Asam for supply of coal to Visa Power for long term supplies for 20 years.
