- Review and oversee monthly closes, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Ensure accuracy of accruals, adjustments, and multi-entity consolidations
- Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and KPI reports
- Maintain clean and standardized charts of accounts
- Oversee accounting operations across multiple entities using:
- Xero (preferred)
- QuickBooks Online
- Ensure all client financials follow U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting principles
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards
- Translate financial data into clear insights for business owners
- Identify financial risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and tax-planning discussions
- Communicate clearly and professionally with U.S.-based clients
- Improve close workflows and reporting systems
- Standardize accounting procedures and templates
- Strengthen internal quality control and review processes
- Support the development and training of junior accounting staff
- Minimum 2+ years of U.S. accounting experience
- Strong background in: E-Commerce, IT/Technology, Real Estate
- Experience working in multi-entity environments
- Prior experience in roles such as: Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller
- Experience leading or reviewing the work of remote accounting teams
- Strong understanding of: U.S. GAAP, Accrual accounting, Month-end close processes, Internal controls
- Advanced Xero experience (must-have)
- Advanced QuickBooks Online experience (must-have)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience working directly with U.S.-based clients

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong U.S. accounting expertise to oversee and handle financial operations for a portfolio of U.S.-based clients. This is not a production bookkeeping role. You will be responsible for reviewing month-end closes, ensuring accuracy across multi-entity environments, improving processes, and supporting leadership with advisory-ready financial reporting.
