Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of the fastest-growing construction and building materials company with a core focus on Building Materials.

As expansion continues, our client is seeking a Supply Chain & Sourcing Manager professional with at least 10 years of experience with the whole process of Supply Chain Management.

The job is based in Greater Jakarta Area, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain
Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain
Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory
Maintains the required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production
Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company
Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes
Ensure fulfillment rate and ontime delivery with competitive cost by using current or new supply chain models
Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to the consolidation of warehousing and distribution
Assesses the need for materialhandling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials
Spearheading Cost savings Projects for the whole chain structural changes, longerterm vs strategic moves
Initiate sourcing the product to support the sales team from the upstream product to the downstream product
Design and redesign the sourcing process for lean operation in the whole chain
Negotiates prices for raw material/trading products and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies
Participates as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information and guidance on the availability and cost of supplies and materials
Monitors the performance of suppliers and carriers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field with at least 10 years of experience
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar field
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes of the building materials industry
Working experience with relevant software (e.g. SAP MM)
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
