    About Our Client

    We are currently partnering with a prominent data center company in Indonesia that is seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join them during this exciting phase of expansion.

    Job Description

    Project Team Discipline Lead

    • Provide support and input to Project Manager during data center development.
    • Collaborate with GC, Vendors, Commissioning, and Design Team for project completion.
    • Regularly engage with stakeholders to review project progress and address any issues.
    • Track, Prepare, and Report weekly updates on project progress, risk, schedule, and cost.
    • Ensure project team meets deadlines and that project scope aligns with Safety Standards.
    • Identify and resolve project issues and risks, providing technical expertise for troubleshooting.
    • Manage Discipline Scope Change Process and documentation.
    • Oversee Discipline installation Quality Assurance, Testing, and Commissioning Activities.
    • Lead Project Closeout activities including Punch listing, Documentation, and System Handover.
    • Conduct project meetings and site visits to ensure smooth progress.
    • Supervise Design & Construction vendors to ensure quality and timely completion.
    • Secure successful facility commissioning and turnover focusing on end user requirements.
    • Review and approve commissioning files for systems & equipment, ensuring compliance.
    • Coordinate GC attendance for critical equipment and system packages.
    • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Coordinate Mechanical-related BIM model and inspect for quality and accuracy.

    • Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders to convey information, answer questions, and resolve issues.
    • Organization: Maintain organization to streamline information access for Project Manager efficiency.
    • Time management: Ensure tasks are completed within budget and on time.
    • Problem-solving: Identify and resolve potential project issues, developing solutions as needed.
    • Leadership: Utilize leadership skills to facilitate teamwork for timely, within-budget project completion.

    The Successful Applicant

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required, Master's Degree desired.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering focusing on Data Centre or Hi-Tech Mechanical Systems Design and Construction, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
    • Ability to prioritize, schedule workload, and manage multiple tasks concurrently, with strong organizational skills and a service-oriented attitude.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with English-speaking engineers.
    • Self-motivated worker with familiarity in Data Centre facilities systems and power supply infrastructure.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Project, with a thorough understanding of building codes and standards.
