Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and well-connected Freelance Business Development Representative with direct Business Development experience in the building materials or engineering-related industry to support market expansion initiatives for our interior & decorative products, exterior wall systems, and structural steel solutions. This role focuses on identifying potential clients, initiating early-stage engagement, building strategic relationships, and supporting proposal submissions to ensure our products are considered in upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and map potential clients across architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, consultants, and other relevant industry stakeholders.
- Conduct structured outreach through email, phone, messaging platforms, and professional networks.
- Arrange and attend client meetings (online or onsite) to introduce products and deliver presentation sessions.
- Build and maintain professional relationships to position products for project consideration.
- Support preparation and submission of proposals, product documentation, and presentation materials.
- Maintain organized tracking of outreach activities, client communications, and follow-up actions.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and new opportunities.
- Provide concise reporting and pipeline updates on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of Client Outreach or Business Development experience in construction products, building materials, or related industries.
- Basic understanding or strong interest in interior products, decorative materials, façade/exterior systems, or structural steel products.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable conducting presentations and engaging with industry professionals.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing independent outreach activities.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
- Having an existing industry network is a strong advantage.
