Deskripsi

The Chief Representative Officer (CRO) in the shipping industry plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the company's operations, sales, and business development in a specific region or country.

The CRO serves as the top executive responsible for representing the company's interests and driving growth and profitability within the designated area.

Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the region. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's presence and market share.

Sales Management: Lead the sales team and provide guidance to achieve sales targets. Monitor and analyze sales performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure revenue goals are met.

Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, shipping partners, and other stakeholders. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.

Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities. Use this information to develop effective sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and shipping industry standards. Mitigate risks and maintain the company's reputation and integrity.

Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts for the region. Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability, and take actions to improve financial performance.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales and operations team. Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.


Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, international trade, logistics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree would be a plus.
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the shipping industry. At least 810 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Indepth understanding of the shipping industry, including freight forwarding, logistics, customs regulations, and international trade practices.
  • Regional Expertise: Familiarity with the specific region's market dynamics, customer preferences, and cultural nuances.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team. Effective decisionmaking, problemsolving, and conflictresolution skills.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Exceptional sales and negotiation abilities, with a track record of closing deals and building longterm customer relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both local and English languages. Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, including clients, partners, and headquarters.
  • Results-Driven: A proactive and resultsoriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and business objectives.
  • Adaptability: Capable of adapting to a fastpaced and everchanging business environment while maintaining composure and delivering quality results.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently

Salary:
Rp8,000,000 - Rp12,000,000 per month
