Role Introduction

  • To ensure the airline's direct digital channels have a competitive presence in the market, maximizing online traffic and revenue generation.
  • To develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities


Digital Promotions and Campaigns

  • Manage regional and local campaigns by identifying potential target audience, forecasting revenue, and proposing key destinations based on market share report / channel reports
  • Develop thematic and personalized campaigns to drive revenue opportunities, increase customer acquisition and improve customer retention.
  • Coordinate with internal parties on resource allocation, campaign setup, and IBE pricing
  • Support campaigns to recruit customers to the airline's contact database
  • Follow up on ancillary revenue generation
  • Ensure prioritization of direct digital distribution channels

Partnership

  • Build and maintain partnerships with banks, associations, and other thirdparty organizations to drive revenue growth
  • Continue to drive commercial value from our existing partnerships

Analytics

  • Use web analytics (Adobe Analytics) to measure performance, identify and exploit opportunities, and continually improve the volume and quality of traffic coming from different sources.
  • Understand sales performance in direct digital channels including share of revenue targets, route performance and plan and measure sales contribution for air and nonair products.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain campaign performance metrics and reporting to track progress towards campaign goals.
  • Systematic analytics and reporting on website specific data to provide recommendations for enhancements

Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation

  • Consult on regional performance of SEM (for alwayson marketing)

Retailing Tools and Platforms

  • Work closely with Digital Sales Operations Team on campaign execution
  • Provide support to brief and lobby Digital Sales Operations Team to ask for enhancements of current functionality or future developments of the toolset, including (but not limited to) payment options, tactical and campaign tools.

Benchmarking

  • Help conduct competitor analysis of pricing and ensure digital channel pricing and proposition are competitive both on and offline
  • Share learning and best practice with other Outports and leverage work done by other Outports when fit for purpose
  • Monitor marketing strategies used by competitors and industry leaders

E&A

  • Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required

Requirements:


Academic Qualifications

  • Diploma/bachelor degree
Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience

  • One year's experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a similar digital or ecommerce role
  • A demonstrable passion for digital and commerce
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategies and tactics, including customer acquisition and retention.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools including Adobe Analytics and Qliksense.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
  • Adapts to and embraces constant change
