- Min. 4-6 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits and Performance Management, preferably in FMCG / manufacturing/consumer goods.
- Strong exposure to factory workforce, shift-based employees, and sales incentive schemes is a plus.
- This is not an entry-level role, and you should be comfortable managing and working with minimal supervision.
- Compensation Expertise: You must be proficient in job evaluation, job grading, and salary structuring. A deep understanding of market salary surveys and benchmarking is essential to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Benefits Administration: Experience in managing and administering various employee benefits, including health insurance (like BPJS in Indonesia), retirement plans, and other perks.
- Performance Management: Knowledge of designing and implementing performance management systems, including setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Data Analysis: You'll need to be highly Mastery of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation, analysis, and validation. Proficient in using functions like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PivotTables, and conditional formulas to manage and reconcile payroll data. Familiarity with local or regional payroll & Tax software is a strong advantage (e.g., Talenta, Ortax, Pajak Express).
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of tax laws (e.g., local income tax, social security taxes like BPJS in Indonesia). Knowledge of labor laws related to wages, overtime calculation, allowances, and statutory deductions.
- Data Management & Accuracy: Skills in meticulous data entry and verification to ensure accuracy. Experience in reconciling payroll data with bank statements, accounting records, and employee information.
- Communication: You'll be presenting data and policies to management and explaining complex information to employees. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Attention to Detail: This role involves working with a lot of numbers and sensitive data. Being meticulous and detail-oriented is non-negotiable.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective, data-driven solutions is highly valued.
- Leadership & Influence: As a junior manager, you'll be expected to lead small teams and influence stakeholders to adopt new compensation or performance strategies.

Key Responsibilities :
Payroll & Compliance Support
- Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with Indonesian labor law and government regulations.
- Work closely with Payroll & People Admin teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, BPJS reporting, audit support, and statutory submissions.
Benefits Management
- Manage employee benefits programs (BPJS Kesehatan & Ketenagakerjaan, private insurance, allowances, incentives).
- Coordinate with insurance vendors and benefits providers (renewal, claims, employee communication).
- Monitor benefits, cost effectiveness, and utilization.
Compensation Management
- Manage salary structure, grading, and job evaluation frameworks across HO, sales, and plant employees.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis (FMCG / manufacturing benchmarks preferred) together with the People Ops Leader.
- Support annual salary review, promotion, and adjustment processes (UMR/UMP, merit increase, ad-hoc adjustments).
- Ensure accurate implementation of compensation changes in payroll systems.
Policy, Process & Improvement
- Develop, review, and improve C&B policies, SOPs, and guidelines.
- Support HR audits and internal governance requirements.
- Participate in HR transformation initiatives (HRIS, payroll system improvement, C&B harmonization).
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a subject matter partner for HRBP, Finance, and Business Leaders regarding C&B matters.
- Support employee inquiries related to salary, benefits, and payroll with professional and clear communication.
