    BSJ offers exceptional facilities and an inquiry-based curriculum to over 1400 students from more than 50 countries. Our campus features sports facilities, libraries, a 750-seater theatre, a Language Acquisition Centre, an Olympic-size pool, and more.

    BSJ's curriculum is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Our Kindergarten curriculum follows the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and Years 1-6 are based on the English National Curriculum (ENC) for Maths and English as well as an inquiry-based exploratory framework which covers our foundation subjects. In Years 7-11, we offer the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), while Years 12 and 13 have access to the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Career-Related Programmes (IB DP/CP). We integrate wellbeing into our curriculum which promotes academic and personal growth while equipping both students and educators for individual development within a positive learning environment.

    We also offer more than 260 extracurricular activities, with students participating in local and regional events.

    At British School Jakarta, our diverse staff includes educators with extensive international school experience and those from the UK educational system. With over 400 staff members representing approximately 20 nationalities who all share a common commitment to international education.

    We seek highly qualified career professionals with experience in UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), English National Curriculum (ENC) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes as well as valuing contributions to co-curricular activities.     Faculty Leader of Mathematics

    Job Description:

  • Assume responsibility for Maths MYP 1-5 and IB DP
  • Provide line management of Assistant Faculty Leader and faculty
  • Responsibility for the development and monitoring of the Maths curriculum
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach IB Diploma Mathematics at both Standard and Higher Levels
  • Exhibit knowledge, enthusiasm and/or experience to teach inquiry and concept based learning across Mathematics at IB Middle Years Programme 1-5 (Year
  • Serve as a Wellbeing Tutor The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • A track record of exceptional teaching experience
  • Capable of teaching across Secondary age group
  • Outstanding subject knowledge
  • Enthusiasm and motivation for exemplary teaching and learning
