About the role
Colebuild Pte Ltd, a leading construction company in the East Region Singapore, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Studio in West Jakarta to be working with Studio Team there and QS Team at HQ in Singapore. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring optimal cost management, working as supportive team player and project delivery. This is a full-time position based West Jakarta.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Assisting Seniors on monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process
- Preparing and analyzing progress claims, variations, and final accounts
- Providing expert advice and support to the project team on commercial and contractual matters
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborating with the QS team and project team to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project efficiency
What we're looking for
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, Civil & Architectural graduate preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Minimum 2~3 years of experience in landed housing Re-built/A&A/Renovation projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and quantity surveying principles on every services including MEP related.
- Proficiency in using quantity surveying software (eg. Bluebeam) and MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
