In 2022, we've joined forces with Districon, a leading supply chain and logistics consultancy with 45 years' experience developing strategies and solving and issues for integrated logistics and supply chain management.

Our joint team forms the Supply Chain & Logistics Centre of Excellence within RHDHV.

We provide top-tier logistics & supply chain advisory as well as digital supply chain advanced analytics services on top of RHDHV's traditional engineering and consultancy domain knowledge.

You will have the opportunity to help define how the engineering industry integrates with strategic supply chain and uses advanced analytics to optimize designs and solve the operational challenges of our clients.


What will you do:

This role is a unique opportunity to take a leadership role to further grow and establish our APAC team.

In our projects you will address a wide variety of supply chain and logistics challenges of our clients across the Asia Pacific region.

You will be working with an impressive range of blue chip clients to understand and capture their requirements and then deliver projects with your data-driven approach, industry expertise and our digital tools.

You will use your skills, along with your APAC and International colleagues, for projects such as:

  • Propose an optimal logistics footprint, process re-design and material flows for an existing multi-national agri-business operation.
  • Preparing and aligning the business case for automation for a leading F&B company.
  • Using simulation modelling to derisk and optimize the design and operations for a consumer goods factory and warehouse.
  • Modelling the future Supply Chain Network for an international wholesale company.
  • Working with our Engineering colleagues to design the warehouse and logistics concepts for a new manufacturing site.

What you bring:


  • An advanced degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Transportation, etc.), Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant fields.
  • Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in the Supply Chain & Logistics field.
  • Demonstrated supply chain & operations consulting experience. Starting with client problemstatements and translating into winning project approaches and proposals. From there, delivering work that exceeds client expectations ontime and inbudget.
  • Strong project management experience and fundamentals. You will be overall responsible for client satisfaction and financial performance of multiple projects the team is delivering. Manage customer stakeholders across all levels of their organization.
  • Demonstrated business development and communication skills to contribute to winning projects and ensuring a steady workload. You will play an important role supporting business development by meeting clients, attending conferences, and using your knowledge and professional network to generate opportunities.
  • Team management and leadership. You will colead our APAC team and build a strong team performance culture while looking after team recruitment, retention and administrative matters in partnership with our Netherlands 'homebase'.
  • P&L management. Although P&L management is the prime responsibility of the SC&L directors, you are aware of the P&L, and the P&L impact of the decisions you take.
  • Relationship management with core stakeholders within SC&L group, software and consulting partners, local government,
  • Willingness to travel, both for incidental trips to our offices in Southeast Asia and Amersfoort (Netherlands), or to Southeast Asian clients.

Nice-to-have experience and skills:


  • Familiarity and an interest in supply chain optimization, simulation, and mathematical modelling techniques and software to support our technical experts in project delivery.
  • Our team works primarily with the optimization platform AIMMS, simulation software WITNESS Horizon, and SQL, Python, and R.
  • Experience in Warehouse or DC layout and material flow (re)design including material handling and storage automation solution concept designs.
