Job Title:
Legal Regulatory and Government Relations Manager


Hiring Manager :
Head of Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs


Location:
Remote (Jakarta, ID)


What do you get to do?

  • Structure, draft, negotiate and/or review legal contracts, letters of agreements, and other documents related to commercial, financial, and operational matters
  • Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on all legal issues
  • Identify, evaluate, and address issues of legal risks
  • Monitor regulatory updates that may affect the company
  • Actively working and maintain relationship with local regulatory body
  • Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with regulators and industry associations
  • Design and execute regulatory advocacy strategy

What do we look for in you?

  • Proficient in English
  • Have at least a bachelor's degree in law
  • Have at least 5 years of working experience with similar responsibilities
  • Have experience in the financial industry or financial technology will be an advantage.
  • Highlyanalytical with strong attention to details;
  • Have a knowledge about data privacy and data protection
  • Have an experience with OSS or any other government tools related to legal;
  • Deep understanding about Indonesia law especially related to Banking, Financial Industry, Financial Technology, Labor and any applicable laws.
  • Ability to provide regulatory recommendations;
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently;
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills; good at building and maintaining relationships with others
  • Comfortable in a startup environment, have a strong desire to grow your skills and responsibilities, as well as work collaboratively in a tight knit, crossfunctional team
