The Role:
Performance Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to measure system performance under various conditions.
Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement through analysis of system metrics, logs, and other performance data.
Collaborate with software developers, architects, and other stakeholders to implement performance enhancements and optimizations.
Design and implement performance monitoring solutions to continuously assess and improve system performance.
Conduct load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing to assess system behavior and performance under peak load conditions.
Document and communicate performance test results, findings, and recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques related to performance testing and optimization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software development and performance testing.
Solid understanding of software architecture, networking, and database systems.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues.
Experience optimizing, scaling, and fixing performance issues on MongoDB databases and Nodejs servers
Experience developing microservices
Experience monitoring system performance
Experience designing scalable system architecture
