About the Role:

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is a critical hands-on role responsible for driving and enhancing our quality system. You will be a key player in the continuous improvement of our organization, with a strong focus on supplier quality, in-process production controls, and final product inspections to improve quality and reduce costs. This position requires collaboration with numerous stakeholders across engineering, production, and procurement, as well as with our suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• QMS & Compliance:
• Implement and manage the company's quality assurance system in accordance with ISO standards.
• Lead internal audits and play a key role in external audits.
• Supplier & Incoming Quality:
• Oversee the quality control of raw materials arriving from suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits, manage subcontractor quality, and coordinate acceptance inspections.
• Drive the resolution of non-conformities with suppliers through the MRB process.
• Implement and improve processes throughout the supply chain.
• Production & Process Quality:
• Ensure production quality by reinforcing written work procedures, managing employee authorizations, and overseeing the change management system, including participation in the Change Control Board (CCB) and ensuring all modifications are governed by Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
• Handle internal non-conformities and customer complaints, including managing the RMA process.
• Ensure all production and test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated according to defined schedules.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Perform deep analysis of quality events and lead root cause analysis to support continuous organizational improvement.
• Continuously review, define, and implement appropriate quality tools and metrics for the company.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial and management engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
• 3-7 years of hands-on quality engineering experience in a technological manufacturing company.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience implementing and maintaining an ISO 9001 quality system.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex product structures.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple internal interfaces effectively.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantages):

• Experience with quality systems in the military or defense sector.
• Familiarity with SAP Business One ERP system.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, VBA).
