Job Summary:

The Vice President of business reporting & analytics oversees the Data Analytics function. This role will lead the development of analytics strategy and senior management to provide key insights and analysis. In addition, make recommendations to improve business results with senior business leaders to solve business problems.

You will also be responsible for producing insightful reporting and build a team of data analytics professionals across business functions.

Vice President of business reporting & analytics will drive greater understanding and transparency of business drivers, highlight key trends, and act as a resource for improving data competency throughout the organization


Data Collection & Gathering
Supervise data gathering and maintain a wide array of data-related business processes and reporting. This involves ensuring right information are being entered into existing databases and creating new processes and programs to accurately input and store critical data


Business Reporting

  • Ensure business documents and presentations for senior level management and executives are produced in timely manner with actionable insight.
  • Prepare actual business reports, which include data on financial performance, sales performance, customers and operational performance in weekly, monthly & quarterly.

Revenue Forecasting
Gather input from key stakeholders mainly from billing function & sales function regarding revenue forecast on monthly basis & validate with business planning function on the annual perspective view


Data modeling

  • Lead crossfunctional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities

Job Requirements:


Qualification:

Bachelor on statistic, Business, Mathematics, Informatic background

Master's degree on an MBA is preferred


Related Experience:

10 years of experience in Business Reporting/ Business Analytics/ Business Planning

Minimum of 5 years managing staff

Strong experience working with data warehouse and data cube environments

Preferably coming from top consulting firm with having experience on data analytics project

Experience in development and maturation of data governance practices


Skills:

Excellent analytical skills and data-driven approach to problem solving, with a high attention to detail

Strong programming skills with querying languages: SQL, Hadoop

Substantial experience delivering insights and developing reports using Business Intelligence tools, SQL and modeling
