Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Identity Engineer with SailPoint IdentityNow to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance solutions. This role will be responsible for managing identity lifecycle processes, enforcing access governance policies, and strengthening the organization's overall security posture.

You will work closely with security teams, infrastructure teams, and application owners to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant identity integrations across enterprise systems and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow, a solid foundation in IAM and identity governance, and strong security knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance solutions using SailPoint IdentityNow
• Configure and manage identity lifecycle processes including provisioning, deprovisioning, access changes, and role assignments
• Integrate SailPoint IdentityNow with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and identity providers
• Implement and manage access certifications, governance policies, and role-based access controls (RBAC)
• Support onboarding of applications into the identity governance platform
• Troubleshoot and resolve identity provisioning, access, and integration issues
• Partner closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and engineering teams to ensure secure identity management practices
• Monitor identity platform health, audit logs, and access governance processes
• Support audit, compliance, and security initiatives related to identity governance
• Document identity configurations, integrations, and operational procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement of identity governance and access management processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow (required)
• Experience implementing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management (provisioning, deprovisioning, access governance)
• Solid understanding of security principles related to identity and access management
• Experience implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege models
• Experience integrating identity platforms with enterprise applications and directories
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and LDAP
• Experience working in enterprise environments with cross-functional teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in remote environments

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Okta or other IAM platforms
• Experience working closely with cybersecurity or security engineering teams
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and access certification processes
• Experience with Active Directory integrations
• Experience with identity lifecycle automation
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
