Our Sea Logistics team in Jakarta, Indonesia is looking for a new National Sea Logistics Development Manager.
-
Your Role :You will focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality + close collaboration with our Customer Care Locations (CCL). You will steer + leverage the capabilities of your direct team, sales channels + our network. Primarily this role is tasked with developing + diversifying business so that income increases, guaranteeing the future growth of the organization for specific products (LCL, Reefer, ISC, Commodities, etc.) focusing on the following core tasks.

Your Responsibilities:


  • To develop strategies + plans for assigned products (E.g. reefer, international supply chain, commodities, etc.) to generate revenue + increase client base in accordance with company strategies
  • Contribute strategies, opportunities and pipeline towards developing new CCL locations for Indonesia
  • To conduct market research + collaborate with partner countries to develop & increase trade volume on various business opportunities + create proposals, ensuring correct pricing + solutions are available.
  • To lead + drive the development of new business, while growing existing accounts to their full potential.
  • To own,monitor+driveallsalesactivitiesofcustomerswithinyourcontrol,ensuringprospectsare identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.
  • To provide support during sales calls + create customerspecific value propositions.
  • To provide uptodate market + pricing information to stakeholders, setting pricing bands in line with local conditions + yield targets and feed intel back into management
  • To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality and close collaboration with the Customer Care Team
  • Act in compliance with all Kuehne+Nagel policies, guidelines and regulations
  • To report on successes + areas needing improvement, especially for customer retention.
  • To continuously + jointly review our business partner programs together with the Operational Care Center (OCC) to ensure our competitive advantage.

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • Min 7 years experience in Sea Logistics + 23 years leadership experience
  • You possess a positive attitude, strong communication and negotiation skills, and an independent self driver commercial person
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and follow through on commitments made to the customer
  • Effective communication abilities in English both written and oral
  • Good analytical skills, problem solving and decision making capabilities
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) as well quickly being able to learn new systems quickly
