My name is Edy… I'm a professional expert in the supply chain of apparel industry. For the past 20+ years I have been in the roles of product development, costing, quality monitoring, planning & production. 

My last role was Planning Production Manager in VF Corporation based in Jakarta. In this role, I lead a team of 8 people in total. 6 of them based in Indonesia and 2 planners based in Bangladesh.  The team manages around 20+ factories in Indonesia, Bangladesh & India. Our main objectives are:

1). Analyze and troubleshoot forecast quantity to all factories

2). PO placement and management with all vendors

3). Identify any potential risk during production.

Before I was transferred to the role of Planning Production Manager in VF Corporation, I was Merchandising Manager for Imagewear coalition within VF Corporation. At that time, I lead a team of 2 merchandisers. Our roles are:

1). Sourcing of factories in Indonesia for suitable production facilities.

2). Development of samples (Protos, Fit, Marketing samples and Production Samples)

3). Involvement of cost negotiation with all suppliers including raw materials suppliers.

4). Bulk order allocation and production monitoring.
