POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet our quality requirements and provide products and services that meet our expectations. The Supplier Quality Engineer will work closely with our procurement and engineering teams to establish and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and ensure that all quality requirements are met.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline.
2. Min. 3 years of progressively responsible experience in quality control/assurance, product reliability, and laboratory test procedures.
3. Good knowledge about IATF 16949 as well as 14001.
4. Structured method of operation, self-dependent with an ability to work well under pressure and given deadlines.
5. Independent, motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Managing plant integrity through a failure analysis reporting system and following up on recommendations.
2. Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction of all Supplier / Subcon.
3. Lead and manage Supplier issue and expertise to the overall Quality Management System, policies, and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements.
4. To implement preventive measure and corrective action for non-conforming products.
5. Responsible for production raw material testing and other related testing and ensure testing is complying to internationally accepted guidelines.
6. Reviews, comments, and approves the contractors Quality Control Plans and Supplier 8D report.
7. Manages internal, external, and third-party audit program.
8. Prepares and implements the project inspection strategy to cover all project phases.
9. Devising ways to improve the supplier manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods.
10. Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
11. Managing and Attending Customer complaints and closure on time
12. Knowledge in PCBA/SMT process
13. VDA 6.3 auditing skills
14. Develop supplier.
15. Oversee internal processes and procedures to ensure quality requirement met.
16. Maintain and keep working area to meet environmental requirements and regulation compliance.
