Commodity Specialist - Bandung - PCI

Responsibilities:

• Source for Electronics, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical components to support new projects
• Able to perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirement
• Responsible in managing the relationship with the suppliers for all commercial issues
• Perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities, etc. to achieve the KPIs set by management such as the material cost reduction target
• To be able to implement supply management strategies and activities such as VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities, etc.
• Be the escalation point when there are delivery issues during the MP and NPI stages
• Management of SAP data integrity

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the EMS or electronic manufacturing environment
• Experience in sourcing, purchasing or procuring of Electronics, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical components
• Strong knowledge in Electronics, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical commodities
• Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
