- Provide guidelines in relation to the payment and collection of duties and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with all required government laws and licensing regulations.
- Be responsible for import activities related to direct materials and export of finished goods.
- Oversee the operations of the 3PL/4PL/ Freight forwarding partners.
- Timely Shipments and provide Estimate Dispatch plan, Vessel and Truck Load planning.
- Have a strong relationship and wide network with customs to resolve any disputes or claims.
- Ensure that the right documents and declarations are provided and submitted to customs on time.
- Work together to ensure that any kind of delay in transport/transit is minimized.
- Hold meetings with business owners and exporters to negotiate terms and operational aspects of shipment/warehouse/Demurrage Detention term. The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering or a related field
- Prior working experience from similar industry/logistics company
- Have a deep understanding of export & import related matters
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written is a must
- Have prior experience in working with logistics vendors What's on Offer
