    MLOps Engineer – Build and Scale Next-Gen Data Platforms

    We are recruiting on behalf of a global energy technology leader driving innovation in sustainable infrastructure and digital transformation. This role offers the chance to make an immediate impact in one of Europe's most ambitious technology programmes - supporting the delivery of secure, scalable MLOps and cloud solutions powering the energy transition.

    As an MLOps Engineer, you'll combine your expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes orchestration, and machine learning pipelines to deliver high-performance platforms that support both advanced AI workflows and enterprise-grade systems.

    Your Role as an MLOps Engineer:

    Be the enabler, the optimizer, and the bridge between Data Science and Engineering. You'll design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that keeps large-scale ML projects running reliably - ensuring seamless deployments in the cloud and on-premises.

    What You'll Do:

    • Maintain and enhance Kubernetes-based environments (primarily AWS, with exposure to GCP as a plus)
    • Drive discussions and solutions for on-premises deployments and hybrid cloud strategies
    • Build, automate, and scale MLOps workflows for model training, deployment, and monitoring
    • Support model inference systems and end-to-end ML lifecycle management
    • Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and data scientists to accelerate delivery
    • Provide input on best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and observability
    • Contribute to normal infrastructure and platform needs beyond ML workflows

    What You Bring:

    • Proven experience in MLOps, DevOps, or Software Engineering with a strong track record in Kubernetes and cloud platforms
    • Solid expertise in AWS (required) and GCP (advantageous)
    • Hands-on experience with Kubeflow, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, GitOps tools (e.g. Flux, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
    • Strong programming background (Python, SQL; additional languages a plus)
    • Experience supporting machine learning platforms and real-world inference systems
    • Confidence in leading technical discussions on deployment strategies across providers
    • Bonus: background in Big Data, Airflow, Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop ecosystems
