We are looking for an Engine Officer (shore-based) in the Maritime/Naval sector for one of our clients. . Knowledge and experience with 2-stroke engines is essential for this position.

At our client's site, you will be directly integrated into the Chartering Department.

At Innova Solutions, you will be directly supervised by Laurent, an engineer by training with over 10 years of experience in the company. His dual expertise, both technical and managerial, enables him to guide you effectively. As consultant follow-up is a priority for Laurent, regular meetings are organized between you, the client manager, and him to ensure the smooth running of your assignment.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for monitoring vessel performance, analyzing data to identify inefficiencies, and interacting directly with vessels to optimize their operations.

Our client has partnered with a market leader in vessel performance services. You will work with the project team and the partner's software to identify concrete actions aimed at reducing emissions and contribute to their implementation with the relevant stakeholders (shipowners, ship managers, crews).

Missions:

- Continuously monitor and analyze vessel performance data using specialized software and systems.

- Identify and diagnose inefficiencies, particularly in fuel consumption, engine performance, and other key operational indicators.

- Proactively contact crews to discuss issues and provide corrective recommendations.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve overall fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs.

- Contribute to performance reports and make recommendations to management.

- Stay informed about advances in marine engineering and energy efficiency technologies.

Skills Required:

- Excellent command of marine engines, propulsion systems, and energy efficiency management.

- Ability to interact effectively with onboard teams.

- Familiarity with digital performance platforms and data visualization tools.

- Knowledge of emerging technologies in marine engineering.

Profile:

- Chief Engineer license or equivalent certification.

- Solid experience in marine engineering with a proven record of vessel performance optimization.

- Experience with energy efficiency regulations and sustainable maritime practices.
