    Job Summary

    The Production Engineer is responsible for ensuring all structural and outfitting fabrication work is carried out safely, meets quality standards, and follows company procedures. This role oversees fabrication activities in the workshop, slab, and launching areas, delegates tasks to team members, and monitors daily progress to ensure work meets the schedule and project requirements. The Production Engineer also coordinates with related departments and reports overall fabrication progress to the department manager.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Ensure all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and quality aspects are met, and take responsibility for safety and environmental compliance.
    • Establish and enforce standards of safety, ethics, and quality in line with company procedures, and take immediate action to rectify or report any non-compliance.
    • Oversee the fabrication process to ensure compliance with company procedures and standards .
    • Responsible for structural and outfitting fabrication and assembly activities carried out in the workshop, slab, and launching areas.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members within each sub-section of the fabrication section.
    • Monitor and ensure the fabrication process runs according to the target schedule, standards, and requirements by coordinating with teams and related departments.
    • Report overall structural and outfitting fabrication progress to the department manager.

    Key Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or an equivalent field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Production Engineer or in a similar role in shipbuilding.
    • Good communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
    • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in production processes.
    • Relevant training and/or certification as a Production Engineer.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
    • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    Education

    Bachelors in Naval Architect
