About The Company
Our client, a purpose-driven artisan brand based in Bali, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead its next phase of growth. With a strong focus on B2B/wholesale and ecommerce, this hands-on role will drive revenue, manage key accounts, and own the commercial engine. You'll work closely with the founder and report directly to the investor to scale the business while creating meaningful social and environmental impact with local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute growth strategies across all sales channels—including export, B2B, B2C, and e-commerce—while identifying new revenue opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Own the commercial P&L, setting targets and managing costs, pricing, and margins to ensure profitability
- Build and manage key accounts and strategic partnerships locally and internationally
Coach and mentor a small team to achieve targets and scale performance
- Analyze market trends and sales data to optimize strategy and commercial outcomes
- Work closely with the founder to align growth plans with the company's mission and values
Requirements:
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia
- 5–7 years of experience in a similar commercial or business development role
- Must be hands-on and willing to personally execute day-to-day commercial activities.
- Background handling premium, design-led, non–mass market products (such as fashion or home & living brands industry) is highly desirable
- Proven track record of building and driving sales growth across B2B/wholesale and ecommerce channels
- Resilient, adaptable, and empathetic, with the ability to thrive in a lean, mission-driven environment
- Sustainability mindset with genuine interest in ethical sourcing, craftsmanship, and community impact
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
