    About This Role

    The Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships role will be responsible for developing and deploying Agoda's Singapore strategy, providing guidance and leadership to ensure the successful account management of Agoda's major partners, and delivering on targets and growth expectations that form a key part of Agoda's business goals.

    This individual will bring excellent analytical skills, strong account and client management experience, a successful record of sustainable performance, and the capacity to lead, motivate, coach, and mentor teams. Additionally, the capability to establish and develop valued long-term partnerships will be key to success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement the market strategy to accelerate Agoda's business in Singapore, Malaysia, and some regional partners across SEA
    2. Lead, coach, and develop a multifunctional team responsible for growing our local business
    3. Implement strategies with top and regional partners to enhance productivity and opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage
    4. Deliver on country commercial and profitability targets
    5. Coordinate with top management on strategic planning and objectives, and develop holistic partnerships
    6. Conduct market research into trends in the industry and the Singapore market to ensure the competitiveness of Agoda's products
    7. Attend and participate in relevant industry events

    What You'll Need to Succeed:

    1. More than 12 years of professional experience
    2. Past success in leading, coaching, and developing teams
    3. Relevant account management, business development, or general management experience
    4. Strong numerical & analytical skills and attention to detail
    5. Ability to successfully communicate proposals to potential partners and internal stakeholders
    6. Strategic thinker, management consulting experience highly valued
    7. Experience in online/e-commerce business preferred
    8. MBA from a well-known institution preferred
