- Carry out on-site survey and vacuum audit.
- Focus on customer support service / troubleshooting on vacuum and compression system.
- Responsible for implementing client requirements, including technical queries and spare part inquiry
- Coordinate the activities among functional departments on standardization of procedures and process to ensure servicing run smoothly.
- Provide general servicing and overhaul of liquid ring pumps / compressors or package related equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with engineers or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem/root causes and determine proper solutions.
- Provide technical support and on-site commissioning to existing and new clients effectively as and when required.
- Carry out on-site inspections and tests on vacuum pumps and compressors and package related equipment.
- Ability to understand and read cross sectional, PIDs and simple electrical diagrams.
- Support sales in technical meeting and activities.
- Promote sales and prepare quotations of spare parts to customers.
- Handle pre and post administrative work.
- Schedule and prepare permits for the service jobs.
- Handle warranty and quality claims between customer and factories.
- Accept ownership and responsibility.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of working experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in service, installation and site commissioning related.
- Experience in Pulp and Paper industry will be advantageous.
- Good analytical & troubleshooting skills coupled with minimum sales/marketing skills.
- Good team player & willing to deal with customer.
- Dynamic and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Team player as well as the ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, able to relate findings and solutions effectively to customers and the team.
- Valid driving license.
