    Snowflake Architect (Contract)

    Location: LATAM (Remote)

    Duration: 6–12+ Month Contract (Extension Likely)

    About the Opportunity

    We are partnering with a large, enterprise-level financial services organization undergoing a major Snowflake migration initiative. This is a high-visibility transformation project, and they are seeking a senior Snowflake Architect to strengthen their data platform team and drive best-in-class architecture across the migration.

    This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a LATAM-based consultant with deep Snowflake expertise and strong BI integration experience.

    The Role

    As the Snowflake Architect, you will:

    • Lead architecture and design for a large-scale migration to Snowflake
    • Define best practices for data modeling, performance optimization, and governance
    • Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Snowflake environments
    • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and BI teams
    • Provide architectural guidance on downstream reporting tools
    • Act as a subject matter expert across Snowflake capabilities

    This is a hands-on architectural role, we're looking for someone who can both design and guide execution.

    Required Experience

    • 5-7+ years in data architecture / data engineering
    • Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and large-scale migration projects
    • Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouses in Snowflake
    • Strong understanding of performance tuning, security, and cost optimization
    • Experience integrating Snowflake with BI tools
    • Advanced experience with Sigma and Tableau
    • Experience in financial services, mortgage, lending, banking, or other highly regulated environments preferred
    • Strong stakeholder communication skills

    Nice to Have

    • Experience working with U.S.-based financial institutions
    • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
    • Background in enterprise data transformation initiatives
