Job Purpose

Job Purpose:

• Provide the technical assistance and advice on product application refer to product characteristic and applicable standard
• Prepare adequate knowledge on the products and align with the customer's expectation
• Supporting on sales team activities.
• Initiative and promote the selling of services
• Provide services activities and ensure meet to the CES contract
  
  

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:

• Represent company in technical matters in the face of customer at site/yard.
• Utilise the technical knowledge to assess painting application, coating faillure analysis, inspection, testing and provide the required reports.
• Provide technical information and advice related to product characteristic and product performance.
• Submit global complaint related to quality, safety, delivery and handling the products.
• Fully understand safety knowledge and implement the safety behaviour according to Akzonobel values.
• Provide the monthly report and other paperwork.

Key Activities:

• Raise the exception report, if there is a deviation from the specification, procedure and applicable standard at the site
• Provide suggestion and advice related to product application
• Provide input/suggestion for Interspec provided by sales team
• Document review and sign on project inspection sheets if required to confirm completion of a relevant stage.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum NACE Coating Inspector Program level 1 certification
• Computer literate
• Communication and selling skills
• Minimum 5 years in the coating industry
  
  

Education

• Diploma / Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Able to communicate in English ; speaking and writing
