About the role

PT. Polygroup Manufaktur Indonesia is seeking an experienced Exim Supervisor to join our team in Kabupaten Kendal, Jawa Tengah. As the Exim Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's export and import operations, ensuring seamless logistics and compliance with relevant regulations. What you'll be doing

1. Manage and coordinate all export and import activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping logistics
2. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing international trade
3. Liaise with various stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and government agencies, to facilitate efficient import and export processes
4. Analyse and report on key performance indicators related to exim activities, identifying areas for improvement
5. Provide guidance and training to the exim team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of exim strategies and policies to support the company's overall business objectives

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor Degree in any Major related to Exim
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the exim or logistics industry
3. Thorough understanding of export and import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance requirements
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
6. Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for exim management and reporting
7. Fluent in English is a must, ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage
8. A team-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimisation
