To strengthen our Electrical Engineering capability, we are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer who will play a key role in supporting electrical system reliability, protection coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

This position is ideal for early-career engineers who are eager to develop hands-on experience in high-voltage systems, protection relays, and power system analysis within a large-scale generation facility.

We're Looking for You

As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will provide first-line engineering support for plant electrical systems under the guidance of Senior Engineers. You will contribute to monitoring, analysis, documentation, and reliability enhancement activities to ensure safe and stable operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting routine monitoring and basic analysis of plant electrical parameters (voltage profile, loading, harmonics, trips, alarms)
• Assisting in reviewing electrical disturbances from SCADA, DCS, and protection relays
• Supporting relay monitoring, periodic testing, and protection coordination data collection
• Participating in root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives
• Maintaining and updating electrical documentation (SLD, schematics, relay settings, test records)
• Preparing periodic electrical performance summaries and engineering reports
• Supporting projects, modifications, and Management of Change (MoC) activities
• Coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and contractors for issue clarification and restoration verification
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety, HV switching rules, LOTO, and arc flash controls

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems / Energy / High Voltage preferred)
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in power plants, utilities, EPC, or industrial electrical systems
• Basic understanding of power system fundamentals, grounding, short circuit concepts, and protection principles
• Familiarity with transformers, switchgear, CT/VT, protection relays, and substation equipment
• Ability to interpret single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control logic drawings
• Knowledge of ETAP, DIgSILENT, or similar power system software is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and professional growth
