    About Our Client

    Our client is a prominent mining company operating in Indonesia. With a strong commitment to responsible mining practices, the company specializes in the exploration, extraction, and processing of various minerals, including copper and gold. The company plays a vital role in contributing to the development of Indonesia's mining sector while fostering sustainable growth and delivering long-term value to its stakeholders. To pursue their vision, our client is looking for a Plant Operation Manager for their Combined Cycle Gas Power Plant. The role is based in Sumbawa with residential status whilst this plant is at construction stage.

    Job Description

    Reporting to the Project Director, the Operations Manager will be responsible in overseeing and coordinating all plant operations, with a focus on achieving optimal performance and upholding safety and environmental compliance. The Manager will be responsible for leading a team of operators and technicians, monitoring plant performance, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

    The Successful Applicant

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering) or a related field is required. Possessing a master's degree is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience (minimum of 10 years) in managing the operations of a combined cycle gas power plant.
  • Strong technical expertise in gas turbine, steam turbine, and HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) operation and maintenance is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of the systems, processes, and equipment involved in combined cycle gas power plants with knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices related to power plant operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team and excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficient in analyzing data and interpreting technical information.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and plant process control systems. What's on Offer
