    About Our Client

    Our client was established as a collaborative venture under Indonesian law in 2013 by 2 founders: one company from Indonesia and the other is foreign. They operate for financing lease and operating lease products for vehicles purchase/financing. They have major presence in 7 big cities across Indonesia - leading the multi-finance industry.

    Job Description

  • Conduct investigations and analyze legal matters, providing professional advice on legal and compliance issues upon request from relevant parties.
  • Ensure the company's adherence to applicable regulations by reviewing and managing consultations with regulatory bodies, such as OJK (Financial Services Authority).
  • Oversee and coordinate the examination of newly established regulations, ensuring all relevant departments are informed and compliant with both external regulations and internal policies.
  • Offer management advice on the company's legal compliance through systematic reporting.
  • Review and interpret company documents, including agreements, business licenses, and other pertinent materials, as required.
  • Monitor and prepare documents for government agencies and regulatory organizations, such as APPI and OJK, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Oversee all legal processes, including agreement reviews, negotiations, and KYC (Know Your Customer) checks, safeguarding the company's interests.
  • Manage responsibilities related to KYC and agreement issues.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to review documents, develop compliance programs, policies, procedures, and training in areas such as AML (Anti-Money Laundering), CFT (Countering the Financing of Terrorism), RAKB (Risk Management), GCG (Good Corporate Governance), KYC (Know Your Customer), KYE (Know Your Employee), and Code of Conduct, as stipulated by prevailing regulations and the annual compliance plan.
  • Organize corporate events as required by authorities, including OJK events, Education Literacy initiatives, Multi Finance Day, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities, Customer Protection programs, and other related events.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports for the Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, or HQ Tokyo.
  • Plan, monitor, and appraise the competencies and work results of subordinates, providing education and motivation to ensure high-quality performance. The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree preferably majoring in Law
  • At least 5 years as a Legal Manager, preferably in the Multi Finance Industry.
  • Understand the concept of the agreement and the provisions of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Disnaker.
  • Computer literacy is essential, especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. etc
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English is a must
  • Have the ability to take legal risk and mitigation
