    Job Title: Lead ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer

    Duration: ASAP start – 31 December 2026

    Workload: Full time hours

    Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)

    Location: Remote (Europe only; except Hungary or Switzerland)

    We're looking for a Lead SNOW Developer to drive high‑performance custom API development and refactoring for a major digital transformation programme in the oil & gas sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead development of custom ServiceNow APIs used as connectors for multiple third‑party applications.
    • Refactor and optimise existing JavaScript code to maximise performance and reliability.
    • Build new custom endpoints on top of the ServiceNow platform.
    • Ensure best‑practice development methodologies, code quality and maintainability.
    • Work effectively under pressure within a fast‑paced, high‑intensity delivery environment.

    Must‑Have Skills:

    • Strong, hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
    • Expert-level JavaScript, with proven ability in code optimisation and refactoring.
    • Demonstrated experience building custom APIs and integrations.
    • High level of maturity, resilience and ability to work under time‑critical client demands.
    • Valid international passport (required for onboarding).

    Nice‑to‑Have:

    • Experience supporting large enterprise digital transformation projects.
    • Background in oil & gas or energy sector environments.
    • Performance tuning experience across complex integration landscapes.
