This position is for a global manufacturing company strong in palm oil , the Placement is in Medan. Candidates domiciled in Medan / Sumatera Utara are preferable.

The position will be responsible for direct and control all aspects of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment in several factories in Medan strong in oleochemical, soap, and palm oil industry.

The position will report directly to all of the GM on those 3 factories and will supervise all the HSE people on those 3 factories.

Requirements:

• The employee must demonstrate strong analytical skill and leadership skill as well as communication skill
• Bachelor degree of Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experienced in managerial level in safety (HSE) minimum 7 years, Preferable from manufacture industry
• Familiar with waste management and waste hazardous.
• Hold licence of AK3 Umum, AK3 Kebakaran is a must, and the licenses still valid.
• Understand the implementation / requirement of SMK3 and ISO 14000
• Preferable domiciled in Sumatera Utara.
• Good communication in English is a must

Job Desc:

• Control Safety activities as well as Environment and Occupational Health under observation of required standards.
• Ensuring all safety support infrastructure in the factories are well maintain according to establish procedures.
• Responsible for the overall safety planning, organizing, direction and operation of safety activities and safety people in all factories
• Ensure all safety system and procedures are well implemented in all factories.
• Provide comprehensive analysis, feedback and report for safety information to all stakeholders.
• Maintain an effective communication and well coordination with all safety team member as well as all respective department and act as Safety Representative in all factories.
• Ensure timely and proper implementation of safety action plan and activities in accordance with required regulation standards.
• Coordination with management to ensure all the safety findings are followed up and closes as scheduled.
• Periodically report the progress of safety program and key issues of all factories to all GM.
• Ensure safety committee meeting and safety coordination are implemented and compliance in all factories.
• Implement safety objective or KPI.
• Responsible for carrying out in handling emergency situation in coordination with emergency response team member.
• Conduct and organize safety training / workshop.
• Identify safety best practice of each plant and implementing them in all factories.
• Control and monitoring day to day activities and evaluate performance appraisal of subordinates periodically.
• Enforce and participate actively in the implementation of management system and other related program.
