- Provide technical support to the project team, including DFM for part, tool design and material recommendations.
- Drives activities related to sustaining and improving process yield, product design changes, cycle time improvement, cost, and safety.
- Responsible for the collection and analysis of factory data, validating and determining priorities and action plans based on the results for production.
- Lead for tooling troubleshooting, process optimization & defect resolution for both dimensional and cosmetic improvement.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- To ensure that the molds produced are designed for longevity and reliability, with the highest standards for ease of service and maintenance of molds.
- Actively works to reduce production loss due to tooling and molding quality issues accomplished through proactive maintenance management techniques.
- Develop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two-way communication, and teamwork.
- Possess a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Plastic Tooling & Molding Technology or equivalent.
- Min. 7 to 10 years hand on experience in plastic injections molding industry for thermoplastic, LSR, two-shots molding and ISBM.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 quality management systems, ISO 13485 preferred.
- Quality mindset and familiar with risk assessment tools like FMEA.
- Must possess good communication, technical analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of UG-NX10 or SolidWorks, PLC and automation equipment.
