- Set up, operate, and dismantle audio visual equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, and special events
- Ensure proper functioning of sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED screens, lighting systems, and video conferencing equipment
- Provide on site technical support during events and troubleshoot issues promptly
- Coordinate with Banquet, Sales, and Event teams to understand event requirements
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and testing of AV equipment
- Maintain inventory of AV equipment and spare parts
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all AV devices
- Assist in installing and upgrading new audio visual systems when required
- Follow safety procedures and hotel engineering standards
- Prepare technical reports and documentation as needed
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Audio Visual or related Engineering field (hotel experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of sound systems, lighting systems, projectors, and video conferencing technology
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read technical diagrams and equipment manuals
- Good communication skills in English
- Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and during live events
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Team player with a proactive and service oriented mindset
- Physically fit to handle equipment setup and movement
