Summary of the Job:
Claim Associate is a critical role in handling claims from initial submission and validation, as well as ensuring the timely and secure delivery of units to the service center in line with the set SLA/Target.
The role requires strong analytical skills to validate claims, verify supporting evidence, and ensure claim decisions are made accurately and in line with policy requirements, and manage logistics processes, ensuring units are delivered accurately and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process claim submissions from customers in a timely and professional manner.
Review, verify, and analyze claim eligibility in accordance with applicable insurance policies, procedures, and coverage terms, including status, coverage period, scope, and limits.
Ensure all claim data and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and properly recorded.Coordinate and schedule unit pickup arrangements when required.
Liaise with logistics vendors to manage the pickup and delivery process effectively.
Ensure units are adequately insured during transportation when applicable.
Monitor shipment progress and confirm safe delivery of units to the service center within agreed timelines.
Arrange the provision of replacement devices (loan phones) and other necessary support to ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
Minimum 2 years experience in claims, insurance or customer service, (having logistics experience is an advantage).
Basic understanding of insurance products, policy coverage, and claim processes.
Ability to review and verify claim documents based on provided guidelines and procedures.
Familiarity with claims management systems or other internal operational systems (training will be provided).
Basic knowledge of data entry, claim tracking, and status updating.
Ability to coordinate unit pickup and delivery processes with logistics vendors under supervision.
Basic understanding of repair and replacement processes for gadgets or electronic devices
Ability to use standard office applications such as Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
Basic awareness of service level agreements (SLA) and turnaround time requirements.
