Hello, my name is Randuwana Witharja, and I am an illustrator by profession. With a passion for bringing ideas to life through my artwork, I have dedicated my career to creating visually captivating pieces that tell stories, evoke emotions, and connect with audiences on a deeper level. My expertise lies in developing original illustrations, character designs, and visual narratives that span various styles and mediums, enabling me to cater to a wide range of projects and client needs. Throughout my career in illustration, I have had the privilege of working on a diverse array of projects that have significantly enriched my experience and skills in the field. My journey started with creating album artwork for bands, where I learned to visually interpret music and connect with an audience through art. This experience seamlessly transitioned into designing T-shirt artwork for bands, blending fashion with visual storytelling.

I further expanded my portfolio by working on storyboards for films, a role that sharpened my ability to convey narratives visually, making complex ideas easily accessible and engaging. Additionally, I ventured into the world of branding by designing logos, where I focused on encapsulating a brand’s essence into a singular, impactful visual symbol.

Currently, I am exploring the realm of children’s book illustrations, a venture that allows me to combine my artistic talent with storytelling, creating engaging and imaginative narratives for young readers. Each project has not only broadened my artistic capabilities but also deepened my understanding of how to tailor my work to suit different audiences and mediums.

I graduated from Universitas Padjadjaran with a degree in Indonesian Literature in 2024. Throughout my studies, I also worked as a professional freelance illustrator. This experience enriched my academic knowledge in literature while honing my creative and professional skills in illustration. With a strong background in both literature and art, I am adept at combining visual skills with deep narratives, creating works that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also meaningful. Working as a freelancer during my studies taught me valuable lessons in time management, responsibility, and commitment to client projects, all of which have significantly contributed to my overall professional development.
