I am writing this cover letter for the position of Japanese interpreter and translator in your company. Since I stayed in Japan for 3 years and work as freelance Japanese interpreter and translator for the past 2 years, I am comfortable in reading, writing and speaking this language. I am elated for knowing a vacancy for this position and can hardly wait to start working with you. Presently, I am working as freelance interpreter with a multi-national company in mechanical industry. My job involves translating the features of document and help Japanese worker communication with Indonesian worker in Bahasa– Japanese (vice versa). Almost the technical documents relating to the production has been translated by me. I am also participating in conferences and meetings to help out Japanese clients in understanding the spoken and content meeting. I also have JLPT N2 certificate, I am skilled in translating spoken words into sign language from Bahasa Indonesia to Japanese (vice versa).
