Tentang Ninda Onyebuchi:

Hello, my name is Ms Ninda. 

I have been teaching for 14 years in formal schools and for about 3 years in the university as a teaching assistant. I have experiences in teaching for IB and Cambridge Schools, I teach for Mathematics from Grade 7 to 10. Besides teaching, I have been managing Mathematics Department in an International School for 8 years.  I also graduated from Gadjah Mada University for my bachelor and Pelita Harapan University for my master. 

Some awards and achievements that I received were being best employee in 2013, best graduated student in Gadjah Mada University, and 1st place for the best product development Bussino Grant KIM Gadjah Mada University.

 Becoming a teacher gives me an opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of children which leads to develop their own identity and a sense of self confidence through positivity and encouragement. Some students might think that Mathematics is a difficult and challenging subject since it might give frustration or test the limit of our logical reasoning and thinking. However, we should not forget that Mathematics upgrades our thinking faculty and reasoning to solve many problems in our daily life. Since Mathematics takes an important role towards us, I always try my best to fulfil all of my students' needs as well as give the space to be comfortable with themselves and secure in my class. Aside from education, I love to spend my leisure time by knitting, I really enjoy in creating the new designed patterns.

  • Delivered efficiency in managing processes by assigning and managing roles and responsibility clearly to direct supervisees, ranging from 8 to 9 team members; monitoring and reviewing the department processes and policies are aligned with the school’s procedures, following up on supervisees who are not adhering to defined processes and policies of the school;  meeting deadlines for all department requirements
  • Delivered the commitment to the development of direct supervisees by guiding them to identify areas for improvement; providing them with the professional development program both internal and external; conducting yearly intensive coaching program for new teacher; conducting various workshops (marking papers, classroom management, setting and vetting assessments); regularly visiting my supervisees classes as well as conducting feedback sessions to improve their delivery
