Elivia Yestiana

Elivia is a freshgraduate of Political Science and Government with work experiences as Government Relations and Public Policy intern at TOKOPEDIA, and Public Policy analyst intern at BAPPENAS. Elivia has interest in Stakeholder Management, Government Affairs, Public Affairs, Partnership Management, and Public Policy. Based on her experience, she is a hard-working, proactive, fast learner, eager to learn new things in various work environments. 

Public Policy and Government Relations Intern, TOKOPEDIA                                   June 2022 – Oct 2022

• Maintained close communication with 3 central government (KEMENPAREKRAF, KEMENDAG, Kementrian BUMN) by gathering insights and information to synergize potential collaborations 
• Help to engage and maintain relationships with relevant ministries on all levels (central and regional Government), industry associations, think tanks, Sharia key players, academicians, and NGOs 
• Harness key relationships and partnerships with diverse issue leaders, community stakeholders, the Sharia network, business associations, researchers, and others to promote TOKOPEDIA’s long-term vision to democratize commerce in Indonesia through technology 
• Oversee public policy issues related to the digital economy at the executive and legislative levels, government bodies, ulama council, and public institutions 
• Provide front-line support on issues requiring engagement, solving problems and escalation 
• Drafted 10+ permit document requirements regarding TOKOPEDIA events with the Ministry of Investment 
• Prepare from drafting to finalizing the collaboration agreement for “Kampus Merdeka” between TOKOPEDIA and BELMAWA 
• Conduct 10+ research into tech policy issues and work with other TOKOPEDIA team members to fashion policy solutions 
• Coordinate and communicate with Corporate Affairs team regarding the invitation for event  collaborations with the Government 
• Prepare and organize the needs for the visit of Minister of Trade (KEMENDAG) to the TOKOPEDIA event “Digitalization of the Cicalengka Traditional Market” 
• Conducting research regarding the substantial of UU PDP that affects e-commerce or the private sector, especially to TOKOPEDIA and GoTo 
• Managed joint initiatives at the national level and collaborated with the Ministries (Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, etc.) 
• Assisted in drafting and communication materials for internal and external purposes by coordinating with the media and communication team (internal) and the Government’s press team (external) 
• Provide weekly report for Senior Vice President of PPGR regarding government relations activites and progress
• Monitored relevant policy by assisting internal research on digital economy policy and other collaborative research projects with government officials and think-tank institutions to meet national regulatory requirements 

Public Policy Trainee, Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS)       Jan 2022 – April 2022

• Evaluating and monitoring government work plan, economy policy package, and government RPJMN

• Conducting market research and competitor research with the team to create business development and marketing strategy 
• Conducting stakeholder analysis to find potential business partners and sponsors for Apiary
• Manage to secure 13 hiring partners in the first three months of work which resulted in the hiring of 30+ Apiary’s cohort graduates
• Approach potential partners by approaching 100+ startups, 50+ sponsors, 200+ community partners, and 50+ hiring partners to expanding Apiary’s market
• Conducting at least 5+ business meetings in 1 week to coordinate, communicate, and negotiating with partners
