Devianti Faridz is a Freelance Journalist who has worked for international media organizations such as CNN International, Voice of America, Deutsche Welle, and Channel NewsAsia Singapore.

Currently, she is working as a Freelance Multimedia Journalist for Voice of America and has founded a production services company for international media wanting to produce news or documentary films in Indonesia.

Devianti has served as a News Correspondent for Channel NewsAsia as well as a Producer for Indonesia’s Metro TV English language news programs. She was previously an anchor and journalist for Televisi Republik Indonesia and Voice of America-Indonesia Service in Washington D.C., USA.

Devianti has covered a wide range of stories, ranging from current affairs, religion, and social issues.

Throughout her career, she has interviewed a variety of public figures including Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Chef and American TV Personality Bobby Chinn, and former Australian Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd.

I have worked both on-camera and off-camera. As a News Correspondent at Channel NewsAsia, I conducted live news reports and produced news packages for television and online platforms. As a Line Producer at Metro TV, I arranged a rundown for live news programs as well as managed a small crew of reporters, cameramen, and video editors. I also have experience in presenting for a live news program for TVRI as well as a taped weekly program for Voice of America.

I hold a Masters's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications Design from Trisakti University.
