Ana Saleh

Ana has more than 20 years of public affairs experience. Currently, Ana works at Edelman Global Advisory as Senior Vice President for Advisory & Trade after serving for approximately seven years as Senior Economic Policy Advisor for Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry, and Food at the Netherlands Embassy in Indonesia.  In that role, she advised, lobbied, and negotiated as part of the Embassy’s efforts to enhance bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Indonesia.

Prior to that, Ana served as Senior Engagement Manager to The Forest Trust, a non-governmental organization devoted to promoting responsible sourcing of agriculture products.

Ana also has extensive experience working as an International Trade Negotiator with the Government of Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade.  In that role, over six years, she helped negotiate trade agreements and worked with Indonesia’s trade partners to increase market access for Indonesian commodities and products. She also represented the Indonesian government as part of official delegations in a number of international trade meetings.

Ana’s professional career also includes work with German institutions, including the Goethe Institut, Educational DAAD, GIZ, and the German Embassy on a range of education and development issues.

She has a Master of International Relations from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
